5yAt GoExpedi we pride ourselves on cultivating an environment where every employee, regardless of ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation feels valued, empowered and included. While we are experiencing a tremendous amount of growth, that sometimes comes with turnover in our organization whether voluntarily or involuntarily. However, our policy regarding any employee leaving the organization is handled with professionalism, respect & confidentiality. We do not disclose private details/reasons for termination with other employees as it is confidential between the former employee and GoExpedi. It would also be both unprofessional and inappropriate to share that information with current or other former employees.
It is unfortunate to find out this way that you perceived racist and sexist remarks taking place. GoExpedi takes any and all claims such as these very seriously. We encourage all employees who may have experienced or witnessed racist or sexist remarks to meet with both their manager and HR or anyone in a supervisory position immediately. We strive to find solutions where both our company and employees win by communicating clearly and ensuring a process that is both professional and compassionate.
The intention of GoExpedi is never to overwork our employees and we continually communicate that. We encourage, especially in our current climate, that each employee take care of themselves mentally, emotionally and physically. We strongly support harmony between an employee’s professional and personal life.
