As a new employee - 60 days- the on boarding/orientation that Materne NA used was very welcoming into the organization. From day 1 the welcome board as new employee on the signage as I stepped into the office (Nice touch!) Next was the organized set up one on one time with brand/hr/sales/finance/product supply/customer support throughout my first 2 weeks, along with plant tour. All was to ensure I was enabled with support network to succeed in my new role. The process helped me feel welcomed, integrated into the organization, and able to perform my new job successfully as quickly as possible.

Very few pros beyond compensation and hybrid working.

Many, many cons. Do not work here if you cannot dedicate ALL of your waking hours, constantly. The organization is very lean and upper management is highly demanding but also completely ineffective at making decisions in a timely manner. People in the NY office are stretched beyond their reasonable human limits and the working environment is filled with smaller toxic groups that collude against people who use their PTO time "too often," have a life outside of working hours (you need to be available 24/7) or if you have to leave at a certain time for school or daycare pick up, etc. You'll catch on in a short time that this is not a place for thriving but only for surviving until your escape. There is a ton of contention between department leaders as well and the leadership/exec team has created an atmosphere of fear that your middle manager will never be able to manage the burden of ultimately creating relief from the overflow of demands. You will be unhappy by your decision to work here, and there is a lot of turnover (even with newer hires), and you can expect to fill in for those gaps for long periods of time.
