You have to work almost every weekend, evening until late, and even Christmas Eve until 9/10pm. The system they use to allocate or book holiday doesn’t work well so you end up working days you wanted to book off. The pay is quite low when you consider the hours and skills/ knowledge needed to do the job. Depending on your position in the company your targets may or may not be realistic. Some newer staff are often penalised for not selling enough but they aren’t allowed to sell higher value items as these items are reserved for senior sales staff even know when newer members are equally able and willing. Individual targets and bonus systems can foster toxic relationships between staff members, whether management or not.
