Good Neighbor is a family oriented company that understands the "family first concept". The pay is average but understandable given the current Medicaid reimbursement rates.

There is a very high demand to work long hours and often carries over into the evening/night and weekends. The national staffing crisis has put a major strain on all supports.

Clients are amazing and some management really cares about employees and our clients great deal of overtime available thorough training practices

Other DSPs do not understand the kind of work they are doing. I have seen numerous other employees come into work high or drunk and also smoking weed on the premises while caring for these people that need them to be in a clear state of mind to tend to them.
