Vantaggi
I wrote a review over eight years ago as an intern and wanted to share an updated perspective of what it’s like working at Gorilla.
Gorilla is the real deal. What you hear about the great culture and how well they treat their employees is true. They invest heavily in their people. I started as an intern about nine years ago. From there, I became an account coordinator, then an account executive and then the client success director.
The experience you have at Gorilla is what you make of it. I've known that since my first day. It’s an environment where you have autonomy over your work. You’re surrounded by people who want to learn and grow daily. It’s motivating and pushes you to be your best. It's not uncommon to hear people say, "This is one of the most challenging jobs I've had." Yes, it’s challenging. But you have all the resources, training and support for you to be successful, feel valued and grow.
With any job, there are good days and then there are tough days. But there’s never a day that I’ve dreaded going into. That speaks volumes of Gorilla’s leadership, the team and the overall culture. If there’s ever a tough day, this is the team I want around me.
The two founders are incredibly supportive and genuinely care about every single person on the team. If you’re ever dealing with a personal issue, they go above and beyond to help however they can. They’re also two of the best leaders I’ve ever worked for. They lead with kindness, integrity, humility and a moral code that places them above any leadership I’ve ever witnessed. It is truly an honor to get to work with them every single day.
