They promote their company culture but use it to mask their significantly low pay rates. Their compensation falls below market standards.
Before I was hired, I had phone interviews for 3 positions which were all low ball salaries. How can they even expect to get good people in the door with under market salaries? I decided to accept the 3rd position even though the salary was low because I was in a hole. Made it 1 year but couldn't do it anymore. Moved onto another company, same duties just a different title and the pay is 3x more than Gradient. The people there were great, but I think they're all spell casted by the "culture" that's why people stay.
