They continue to lay-off every few months. The communication is always "no more layoffs", then a few months later another one. People are very afraid to speak up. In all the meetings, everyone sits there in fear when asked 'does anyone have any questions". All the area's are getting hit hard and many are being outsourced. If you're desperate, take the job but stay hidden and just do your job. You'll find out if you go there, don't every speak.

Grange truly prioritizes culture and cares about its own employees. I've worked here for over a decade. The leadership, environment, and people continue to be the differentiator compared to other workplaces.

Svantaggi

Due to the longevity of many of Grange's employees, the opportunities to move around and obtain promotions is not as readily available. Many people stay in their roles for years and years. Upward and horizontal movement is not as common.

Business causal environment when we have to go into the office

Constantly adding high paying directors and made up positions but you keep shrinking the people that are responsible for bringing in the business that actually make money. More and more are promoted to these glorified secretarial roles that are not needed but keep reducing the amount of underwriters. You could hire several underwriters for one of those high salary positions.
