      high traffic clientele and good tips

      Senior management always pushing faster without concern for quality. Raises are far between and there isn't incentive to work faster or harder due to lack of productivity incentives. The only increase income comes from tips that are counted as part of your "effective wage" that accounts for half if not more of your income. Very little work/life balance as it is always short staffed or filled with inadequately skilled workers causing fast burnout/turnover of tenured stylists.

      Glad you had a good volume of customers and tips. Each Great Clips salon is independently operated and owned by a local franchisee who is responsible for setting wages and schedules.
