Culture is a huge part of the Group Commerce experience. If you're looking to get assignments, head to a cubicle, and hammer out assignments, this isn't the place for you. The work is pretty rewarding, and we are new enough that we are still figuring things out, meaning everyone can make a significant impact on the future of the company. At the same time, we are well-funded and making money; not yet profitable, but tracking toward it nicely. Also, memes are a big part of life.

Paychecks are probably on par with other nyc startups, but those other startups are probably more generous with equity.

Great concept to provide a network for merchant offers and ideas for the technology to make it work.

Lack of direction and attention to revenue. No internal oversight of processes. Let very inexperienced people run entire programs and department. Too many silos. Lack of collaboration between teams, especially product development, marketing and sales. Disorganized at every level. There were the chosen few who could do no wrong and could get away with not really contributing. All in all, a very unprofessional environment.
