Training staff is waaaaaaaay too sensitive. I was let go after 3.5 days working there because I was told I was acting inappropriate and distracting. Example? We did 90% of our training via teleconferences. An employee that now resides in Europe said they were relocating to Chicago soon. I jokingly told them to bring me some perfume. Their country is known for pretty perfume, clothes and wine as well. Another example... Again, training was done via teleconference. The trainer, who was in another state, had asked me something. I tried to unmute, but couldn't. They kept asking me the same question. So, to let them know that I heard them, I made a fist with my right hand and "nodded" yes in American sign language. No one apparently knew what I was doing. So, when I was finally able to unmute, I jokingly said no one understood sign language. This was considered offensive. "Final straw"... I had a 10am appointment/sale and had to use the bathroom. Most of us were in the training room and it was on a live teleconference. Around 9:45am, I got up, walked to the trainer and whispered the situation. They said ok. The other trainer that was out of state asked what was going on. The in house trainer told the whole class that I had to use the bathroom. I reeeeeeedally did have to go, I was irritated and said to them that I didn't need my biz put on ghetto blast like that and left the room. Apparently, I wasn't supposed to be annoyed by their actions. And then, I was let go shortly after that.
