Management force you to come to the office and expect you to stay late for face time. If you don’t you won’t get promoted. Promotions are based on favourites. Some people don’t do any work and get away with it, I think because the management don’t want the hassle of dealing with it. If you miss an email after 5:30 management will hold it against you forever even though I was not paid for overtime. Good people leave with high staff turnover.
