Vantaggi
I worked for this organization for three years as a Head of School. My first year felt hopeful—even blissful. Classrooms were lovely, the environment was beautifully maintained.
Svantaggi
The company’s priorities shifted sharply toward enrollment and revenue rather than what is best for the child. Decisions were consistently driven by the bottom line, not by educational integrity. Upper management was completely out of touch with the actual realities of running a school, and instead of supporting us, they often created obstacles that made success harder, not easier. It’s no surprise that so many schools have since closed. The way those closures were handled was, frankly, a debacle—sudden, chaotic, and deeply unethical. Families and staff were left in the dark with little to no notice. It was unnecessary, and it caused tremendous harm to communities that trusted them. I also deeply disappointed to see the loss of accreditation with the training program. It once had great potential, but from what I understand, it has now lost accreditation, rendering it essentially worthless. Montessori deserves better than this. It’s heartbreaking to see an organization built on such a meaningful mission become a source of disillusionment for so many—educators, families, and children alike. Rebranding through bankruptcy is nothing more than a Band-Aid on a sinking ship. All of it, in the end, stems from one word: greed.
