Vantaggi
In the early days it was an attractive place to work, offering competitive salaries, strong leadership under a visionary CEO, and excellent benefits. These factors attracted and retained many talented professionals. However, as the company began to decline, these benefits were not enough to counteract the negative changes in the corporate culture.
Svantaggi
I observed several concerning practices within the upper management that greatly affected the company’s culture and operational effectiveness. It became evident that promotions and job security were heavily influenced by personal relationships rather than merit or performance. This favoritism undermined the morale of many dedicated employees and stifled professional growth. Moreover, the leadership team appeared disconnected from industry trends and lacked a clear, consistent direction for the company. This disconnection resulted in a reactive rather than proactive approach to market changes, placing the company at a competitive disadvantage. Diversity and inclusion were notably absent in the company’s culture. New and challenging perspectives were not welcomed, and employees who voiced their opinions too vocally were often penalized. This created an environment where innovation was stifled, and a homogenous viewpoint prevailed. The company's transformation over time has been disappointing. What once was a visionary enterprise with strong values and a clear mission has now become a typical profit-driven entity, prioritizing financial gain over ethical standards and employee well-being. The original owner’s vision has been replaced with a ruthless approach that disregards the foundational values that once made the company unique.
