I worked with HEB for almost 6 years at multiple locations - Recensione dipendente - Cashier presso H E B

The location I worked at primarily (I transferred for college and then went back) had very immature management at times. I was work friends and decently close in age to some of them (within a few years) and even then if you did not kiss butt to them and break your back for them, they could treat you so mean. During the pandemic I was doing online school and had a major final in the morning I wanted to do more cramming for and I told the managers/shift leads when I got in all of that and asked if they decided to cut hours to be cut (even if it was 5 min early as I still needed to grab a few things before leaving the store). All that to say, one of them decided to give me a side job of helping clean registers the last hour of my shift (there was someone else doing this as well). When we finished, we both had about 10 min left in our shifts and the shift lead sent the other person home early and gave me another side job to do and wouldn't let me leave until it was finished.....20 min after my scheduled time.
