For audio and music professionals, working at the home of JBL is in itself a thrill. The company is large and has all the functional areas you would expect, resource rich environment. There remain some stars of the industry that really are passionate about speaker, electronics design. A lot of great people.

The company is run by finance and operations. While the group I was with got there by acquisition, we were surprised by several operational/directional decisions from HQ that there was no heads up on and to this day made little sense. The interworking of divisions and communication is not great. Can not comment on the Samsung acquisition as no longer work there. HR was not employee centric.
