Harman like many companies is trending towards doing more with less. They have had mass layoffs, ineffective re-orgs, and a confusing vision of how they will grow for the future while enabling employee growth, welfare, and work life balance. At the moment the company lacks job stability. HR is stiphened from being able to make more positive strategic changes for the company due to lack of support and maybe understanding from senior leadership, and budget restrictions. There is really no company culture post Covid and little room for advancement. You do the work to get paid, you don’t build community.
