I really appreciated hearing your positive experiences about the nurses and carers you work with, but I was really sorry to learn about your concerns. We do work very hard to make every home a great place to work for colleagues. Your hard work, and the work of your colleagues, makes a great difference to lives of the Residents we support. We are making a lot of positive progress and in our most recent annual independent staff survey, nearly 85% of colleagues who participated were ‘satisfied or very satisfied with their role and working for HC-One’. A similar number felt well supported by their manager. However, feedback from colleagues who are unhappy with parts of their job is also incredibly important to us, and we take this very seriously.
