Extremely top heavy. Managers everywhere, very few people doing work. Bread crumbing, for years there were career promises that never seem to work out. There is no support or advancement for mid-career people. All the conference perks and opportunities go to the recent grads while you try to expense a 50 dollar workshop about codes. Are you mid career woman? Then run. While the projects are great, and the people you work with are nice be prepared to answer questions that imply because your a woman you might now know the answer. Maybe your a mother, you'll get asked about missing your family and who is raising them. Are you competent at your job? Prepare to go nowhere, while less qualified men are promoted around you. Also be prepared to present an idea have a man present the same idea and have them get patted on the back. You'll be repeatedly told you have managements support, only for them to never act in a supportive manner. Have an opinion? Do you dare to express it? Be prepared to be labelled, difficult, and have your "tone" called into question. Not just from middle aged men whining but also from HR who victim blames. Honestly if you want to do quality work, be acknowledged for your efforts and not be frustrated by how you are treated on a daily basis then HDR is not for you.

Parking sucks. The office is in downtown so you have pay just about any where you park. Work is repetitive or stagnant sometimes.

Fantastic teamwork. The Coastal Group is very close and highly collaborative. There is a lot of support from upper management in the Coastal Group. Lots of projects lined up.
