The layers of management between the VP level and the workers appear to actively behave as if they want the changes and new directions to fail while the vernally say they support it. The director actions especially seem very siloed and self serving with a view to benefit the company as a whole. they actively disengage the employee base by their actions not matching the senior leadership goals or what they say. This is especially prevalent in the indirect business functions, HR, Business management, Payroll, EHS, etc. These directors seem to have not accountability to anyone. They refuse to even consider modern techniques and if any idea might cause them more effort they reject it.
