The company could put a fraction of the energy it places in the details of project recording and instead encourage greater collaboration. The company is especially siloed in terms of its professional practices - architecture is separated from engineering, planning may be split into multiple offices within a locality for no particular reason. The lack of integration makes it especially difficult to achieve design synergies.
