Collaborative - Every team loves to collaborate and provide feedback that can help Accessible Leadership - The access to senior leadership here is invaluable - you actually can see the direction and success of the company reflected in the day-to-day and have many opportunities to work with/get feedback from senior leadership directly (invaluable experience in my opinion) Very flexible PTO - This is huge - teams encouraged to take PTO and as long as you can get your work done, you can take PTO as needed. Remote - Just about everyone is remote, but there is an office to work in if you live in Austin that is a great option if you like to come into an office every once in a while. The choice is yours to make, which is refreshing as someone who was in-person all the time for years! Challenging / Growth Opportunities - It's a start-up so it IS hard work, but in a way that gives you room to grow and allows you to feel challenged and like your skill sets are actually being enhanced (hugely refreshing coming from a big company where one can often feel stagnated at work or not given the proper training/tools to prepare for challenges) Transparent - Leadership shares company directions, results, etc. very readily - don't feel like there is ever a time where you don't know how the company is doing; senior leadership is very open to addressing questions and concerns Fun! - For a startup, the culture is developing well, and it's a lot of fun! The learning/development/culture committee has held several successful functions since I've been here and all have been a joy to participate in Work/Life Balance - As someone who came from a big company where every day was a 12+ hour day - and extra hours were EXPECTED not a chance to get ahead, it is refreshing to have a semblance of work-life balance for once. Leadership really values and respects off-time and work-life balance needs Trust - Generally speaking, there is a solid level of trust in the employees here - there's no need to micromanage - everyone is treated with respect and understanding that they're here to do a job and were hired because they can do that job without needing constant surveillance to get there.
