Where do I begin…… Unrealistic sales targets. Health and safety is just a box ticking exercise. Store security is pathetic Antiquated till systems are a joke. Broken keyboards, monitors, mice…. Yes really!! Colleagues having to walk around the shop looking for a working terminal to complete a sale Outsourced IT department is a waste of time, just because they speak English doesn’t mean they can understand what you’re asking. Knee jerk response to incidents with no pro-activity High stress levels caused by deliberate under resourcing of staff hours. Creaking store infrastructure which takes forever to repair Customer Services outsourcing causes more problems than it solves. Branches left to pick up the pieces Wages for colleagues are 40p above the minimum wage, but expectations of skill levels are much higher. “Favourite” branches get all of the hours. Middle managers keep a very low profile at branch level. We don’t need to be open for 12 hours a day If I could I would leave today

Great teamwork ethic, enjoyable work. Good opening hours over weekend and discount scheme. Cycle to work scheme very good and opportunity to progress.

Low pay considering what is expected of you. High work load at holiday seasons so therefore long hours. Often unappreciated by management, do not partake in any refit of stores. Long hours and very unappreciated.
