-you can mostly have a standard 9-6 if you stick to your ideals and don't let people push you around -seem to be fairly advanced in terms of tech and programs used (at least one guy always seems to be in the know about the newest revit/grasshopper/rhino etc. updates and how they can work together for a better work flow

-not interesting work -disorganized and bad PM's. -PM's can't stand up to the client which means the workers suffer and do extra work to make changes in an unrealistically short amount of time -PM's make huge mistakes that could have been easily avoided had they actually looked through and approved plans properly -not enough people on projects which means a lot of pressure -the pressure feels pointless because the projects lack any sort of design and are purely for profit (why do I feel like I'm having a small heart attack everyday so that a wealthy person can become more wealthy?) -no work culture -everyone seems depressed -low compensation. seems to be an "architecture" problem but if this firm can afford to take on so many projects, they can afford to pay their workers better - some mid level employees have let the semblance of power that they have get to their head. they are angry and annoyed when less experienced employees have question or input. -no overtime paid, but overtime definitely happens
