Way too many managers for how few working-level employees there are, having several layers of delegation to have only one or two people actually working on it is entirely pointless. Management is one huge old boy's club, which has been cut down partially but could be cut even further. Additionally, merit is not recognized so anyone with merit will inevitably have to leave in order to have any kind of career progression, so turnover is way too high and there are very few engineers that have significant history with their products.
