If you are like 95% of all sales people you want to grow your income year over year. This is what drives money motivated people and helps a company grow. This no longer happens here. Every year the amount of profit you bring in has to grow by a big amount in order to make the same amount of money. If you crush sales one year you will pay for it the next. There is now a cap on commission. You will feel like leadership doesn't believe sales people should make that much money for selling hardware. This makes no sense to the majority of us. If we are growing sales why can't we make more money? We all win. Those who can't hit their budget either need coaching or need to find another job. Punishing 95% of the sales force to make it "fair" for the 5% doesn't work. If they would fix this issue it would be a much better place to work. I am not opposed to a larger budget each year or working late hours and some weekends.
