My experience with their policies and employee treatment has been extremely disappointing. One major concern is the lack of clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical matters like employee claims and reimbursements. During my tenure, I confirmed with the Finance Head that there were no restrictions on receipt age for claims. However, after I submitted my claims, Finance rejected them on the grounds of “invalid receipts” due to receipt age. This rejection was based on a newly implemented policy that was never communicated, or acknowledged by employees. As a result, I lost claim reimbursements equivalent to almost a month’s salary, a significant amount. This not only shows poor transparency but also a lack of accountability and fairness toward employees. Policies that directly affect employees’ pay should be communicated clearly and upfront, not enforced retroactively. For a multinational company, I expected better governance, communication, and respect for employees. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite, and I hope future employees will not face the same issues.
