Like with a lot of small family run businesses, they'll promise progression and a family feel throughout your working life there. The truth? You'll never progress unless they love you and even then the glass ceiling is 50ft lower than for those that are related to the directors. They change the structure of the learning and development team constantly but it's always the same people that are given opportunities to grow with the company. Even when you do get training, they'll never let you forget it, almost like you 'owe' them for being trained to do your job!
They're all about hitting targets but even if you hit your targets like I have before, it's never enough. You're expected to have case loads of 70, bring in new business and be spoken to like you're worthless in the process.
The staff turnover is extremely high, I've literally lost count how many people have left since I started. Definitely not recommended if you want to leave with your soul in tact.
