We are happy to hear that you valued your teammates, the one-on-one interactions with patients and their families, and the development possibilities provided by HCA. We apologize if you felt that you did not receive enough supervision or supervisory input. If an employee feels that they are not being treated properly by their direct supervisor or supervisory team, they should speak with HR so that we may take the necessary action to get them the support they require. It is important that every employee feel heard and seen within the company. In order to cover the cost of travel, our Direct Care Staff can set their own schedules and HCA also offers to reimburse a percentage of the mileage to and from sessions. We provide coaching sessions to give Direct Care Staff the chance to discuss their issues with inconsistent session times and to foster dialogue between staff members and clients in an effort to improve session consistency.
