It offers a good wage for someone starting in the healthcare field. Other than that there isn’t much to brag about for a full time job in this field. Good job to break into the Healthcare field. After 6 months start seeking other employment. There are long time employees to have stayed bottom tier which is good if that’s all you want.

There is no 401K match, sick time, room for advancement, extremely low raises offered once a year if you qualify for it, all performance reviews are based off of the relationship you have with your direct supervisor and the Chief of operations not based off of the work you do, and limited PTO. Since there is no sick time any time off due to illness is taken directly from your PTO. Do not expect to miss days due to inclement weather i.e. snow storms. It doesn’t matter if the roads are unsafe be there or lose PTO no working from home. The morale on the operations side is extremely low. This is due in part to the turnover rate. When I first started working at HealthDrive everyone aside from 2 people on my team had left the company with bad relations within the first 6 months. Around the time of the yearly survey they realized that the morale was low so they decided to throw a party… This party was during work hours and you had to work through it... They had snacks in the break room. It seemed like it was the Chiefs job to squash any morale that might start during the work day. We were limited in how long we could talk to one another and if she caught you speaking for someone for too long she would make her way over to investigate. Even if the conversation was completely work related she would roll her eyes and show that she didn’t believe you. After the limited conversation thing didn’t take it was decided to take away the privilege of listening to music with earbuds in as long as you could hear your phone in case it rang First she said we could only have 1 ear bud in then a few days later when she walked around the office saying hi to everyone and some people didn’t immediately respond she took it away all together. They also took away birthday’s cake celebrations for individual sections instead they are now held with all of OPS at the end of the month. This is just another thing that destroys morale. You cannot boost morale with that. If while working at HealthDrive you do good at your job they will continue to stack work onto your load until you stop doing soo good. They will not pay you any extra no matter how many positions you end up taking over. While seeing you struggle instead of taking off some of the extra work they will just sit you down and tell you to do better. Management is poor. Managers receive no management training at all. They barely receive enough training to fully comprehend the jobs of their employees. If the manager does not know how to lead or is stopped from being a good leader everyone will do bad and there will be low morale. If a manager has his/hers employees back and brings legitimate issues to the Chief he/she is shot down immediately and the entire sections is then treated poorly. This company shows extreme signs of favoritism.
