The facility is nice; with a lot of parking and easy to access from the freeway.
There is not the level of politics that many insurance companies have. Management seems nice and not inaccessible.
Some of the employees have been with the company for a long time and are very knowledgeable.

I have worked for HealthSCOPE for about a year and the company as a whole is not bad but the department I work in has significant issues. The software is poor, the IT and telephony equipment is older, and often there are issues just accessing the information needed to do the job is very slow. Most of the time it is very difficult to even hear over the phone.
My direct supervisor admittedly does not know anything about health insurance and is of very little help in resolving issues. Generally resolving any non-routine customer issues is very difficult and frustrating. I personally feel frustrated about 75-80% of the time.
The caliber of the other customer service staff varies wildly. About 20% are very qualified and skilled; the remainder are very immature and have poor personal appearance and behavior. The average tenure is about one year.
Trying to locate information on the company's intranet is very difficult and frustrating. This includes the employee handbook.
There does not seem to be any clear advancement pathway. I rarely hear of anyone advancing at this location.
