Pay scales below the norm for Middle Tennessee. When Tom Stephenson (long-time employee and president) left the company several years ago, quality and communication began to break down and has yet to recover. The product no longer focuses on customer retention or patient safety; instead reacts based on the wishes of two large corporate clients. Used to be employee-owned with regular financial reports and long-term goal transparency, but times definitely changed. Many managers are promoted from within but never given the training or skills to be successful in a management role. Any experienced leaders hired from outside tend to leave the company within the first year - not a good sign. No company bonuses in several years, and many recent layoffs have their long-term employees scrambling for new opportunities. Laughable internal education and lack of any employee retention programs or career advancement make this a company to avoid.
