Executive-level misalignment and toxic dynamics are driving an increasingly unhealthy work environment. The disconnect at the top is cascading across the organization, negatively impacting culture, decision-making, and overall effectiveness. There is little to no psychological safety, leaders are not empowered to speak openly without risking their roles. Strong, competent leaders who challenge poor decisions are being pushed out, while less capable individuals who avoid dissent are elevated into critical positions. The biggest contradiction is the gap between the company’s proclaimed “Trailblazer” culture and reality. Instead of fostering bold thinking and innovation, the environment now rewards staying quiet, playing it safe, and preserving one’s job.
