- Their vacation policy is weird; You have to have someone cover every shift no matter what, it could be 6 months out and you have to ask around to get it covered, not very good if you like to travel or visit family. -They happened to fire a lot of us estheticians that have been with the company for years (for stupid reasons) as they revised the new rules so the new girls wouldn't be aware of the rights we used to have -No one in upper management can understand where we come from as they aren't estheticians themselves. -The pressure to use dirty tactics and push clients to buy memberships is IMMENSE and very stressful... They have quotas to fill and if you're under 35% for 3 weeks they threaten to fire you. I will say they try to give you as much education and tips to sell as they can. But still. -Our dress code doesn't let us wear crocs, only closed-toed athletic wear simply because the upper management ladies think they're ugly and not professional. Although, we would like to wear them to relieve our feet after standing for hours and literal nurses wear them :(. -You do have to perform a Brazilian on men even if you're not comfortable with that. They at least let you kick them out if they act unprofessionally -They start you on an hourly 13/hr until you make more in commission. The commission starts at around 16% and goes up to 25% the more memberships you sell. -The benefits are minimal. -Management can AND WILL blow up your phone to see if you can cover a shift a lot.
