Great benefits, good discounts at hotels all around the world. A good resume builder for those that want to enter into Hotel Management at some point.

Scheduling is 24/7 and having weekend and holidays off is never optimal. Learning to deal with other departments can be challenging as well. You don't get a chance to learn who all of your co-workers are, because your are always working in different departements and transitional shifts.

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
