Best place i've ever worked - Recensione dipendente - Sr. Engineer presso Hinge

It's baffling to me to see the low overall rating on here. In my experience at Hinge, I have never felt such safety in a workplace, dedication to its employees, or seen such all-star talent. From executives to ICs, I have only met people who truly care about their work and are excited about what they are building. Everyone here is wicked sharp as well - no duds. The company culture is also incredible. Hinge's HR team is dedicated to increasing pay to match the market and would rather pay to retain its top talent than look elsewhere - something I've never experienced before or actually seen played out. The company hosts biweekly all-hands to share what everyone's working on, and really practices radical transparency. Overall I still can't believe I get to work here and I'm really excited about the future of the product.

As the parent company, we interact with Match Group and have seen lots of new leaders at that level. This can be frustrating when Hinge has to defer to Match Group policies.

Great work life balance, free lunches, 401K matching, and health benefits.

Lack of internal mobility and career growth. Prefers executional do-ers that keep their head down vs curious changemakers.
