Store Set Crew - Recensione dipendente - Set Crew presso Hobby Lobby

Came in to a hiring event labeled "hiring all hourly positions" and find out they were hiring strictly for a store set crew. Temp gig, potential to go full or part time. No big deal, I take the job when offered. The job was described as "maybe 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, every Sunday off." I get to the store set (after being told a day before when I needed to be there) and am told 12 hour days, 7 days a week, no time off, for 21 days. Mind you this was at temp pay (10.40), and because you're hired as temp you don't qualify for overtime. Incredibly shady. Was berated by the management for not working quick enough despite limited training and the company hiring 20 less people than were needed to do the job. Safety is a joke. I was covered in cuts from working with glass and sharp objects and was denied gloves when I asked (which the safety videos tell you should be provided.) Family, faith, and friends my rear end.
