The team at Homesearch is fantastic—supportive, talented, and genuinely great to work with. The product has real potential, and there’s a solid foundation to build something great.

Unfortunately, the management team lacks a clear strategy and direction. As an employee, you’re constantly overloaded with responsibilities while priorities shift on a whim. Senior leadership, including the C-suite, is either incapable of motivating a team or so out of touch that they don’t even realise it’s important. There is a wealth of knowledge and great ideas within the lower ranks of the company, but it all goes ignored because the CEO “knows best.” He resists change, yet his leadership style is seemingly influenced by the latest book, coach, or trend. The result? A chaotic, demotivating, and deeply frustrating work environment. The COO, meanwhile, leads in an impersonal and rigid manner. His leadership style focuses more on authority than on earning his team’s respect, with his staff going along with what he’s asked through fear of losing their jobs rather than out of genuine motivation. Clients are constantly begging for product updates, but nothing gets fixed. Instead of refining what already exists, the CEO is always chasing the next shiny new project, leaving the company stuck in a perpetual cycle of half-finished ideas and abandoned potential.
