There was always work available so you could always pick up some hours. Owners were decent people and took pretty good care of their employees. Had decent work parties and gifts for special events.

There was not overtime pay. Some workers were unreliable. Not an ideal career path as you could only progress to supervisor level.

The great part of this job was working at my own pace and having the time to do a good job.

Supplies are rarely ordered on time; owner doesn't know much about cleaning; pay is low with no raises, even after 5 years; it's 100% physical labor, including bending, twisting, lifting, crouching.
