I loved working at Horizon. It is a small company, so you get a chance to know people in different departments and it felt like being part of a family. You have to wear multiple hats sometimes which means work is never boring.

Since it is a smaller company there is not much room for advancement.

Innovative capital product line that exploits its niche well. Consumable and capital product lines are well received and well supported. The products deliver what they should. Innovation is adequate for an operation this size. In general, the customer base is satisfied.

Poor benefit package and Pay compared to industry standards and company profit margins. High turnover and micromanagement. Incentive compensation is adjusted annually to eliminate personal earnings growth. Very little to no opportunity for growth in personal earnings or internal career development. Some basic tools needed to effectively perform the job are not provided simply to avoid additional expenses.
