My immediate boss was very supportive, and a better leader than the company deserves. However he is not empowered to drive the changes this company desperately needs. Best health insurance I’ve ever had, but was not worth the level of stress and crap you have to put up with.

Too many to list but main issues Corporate is disconnected from field operations, the decision in cutting driver manager pay to $49k and wondering why you can’t keep/attract quality people to the job, refusing to give adequate OPRs to hire staff to support the operation and the driver head count is insane and has lead to severe burnout across multiple terminals. Planning department has zero accountability for their staff’s mistakes and little to no understanding of how a trucking operation should run. Fail to plan for traffic, drivers HOS, or even driver schedules and capabilities. To quote the AVP of their planning department “it’s ok if we “f” up, we just need to document a good excuse to keep account management off our butts” Account management is disconnected from operations and makes unrealistic promises to customers, they are selling a service they do not understand. Driver recruitment standards are virtually nonexistent, aside from the mad scramble to eliminate non domiciled CDL holders that was later walked back for some people, the main qualifications to drive for Hub are having a pulse, and $1.50 for the vending machine so you can snag a CDL as the prize from a bag of cracker jacks. In the 14yrs I’ve spent in this industry these are by far the worst, most unprofessional, and under qualified drivers I’ve ever had to manage. Maintenance and equipment standards are laughable, despite having a phenomenal team of mechanics and managers they are not empowered or equipped with the necessary tools to maintain a fleet of this size.

This company has been one of the most disappointing places I've encountered. Employees and carriers regularly deal with delayed payments, and communication regarding those delays is often poor or nonexistent. Management seems far more concerned with protecting the company's interests than treating people fairly. The workplace culture leaves a lot to be desired. Staff are often made to feel undervalued, unsupported, and easily replaceable. The company also seems to go through periodic waves of terminations, where employees are let go simply for being among the lowest performers at the time, regardless of circumstances or overall contribution. These positions often remain unfilled, leaving the remaining staff to absorb additional responsibilities and workloads. Concerns raised by employees are frequently ignored, and there appears to be very little regard for the well-being of the people who keep the business running. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering working with or for this company.
