I would 40% of the time, Hub is a great place to work. The benefits improved over the years I was there and Hub is always trying to show appreciation for the work that employees do. If you are looking for a place to work where the job you start in is where you stay for 30 years then apply. Work-life balance is great and benefits have gotten better over the years. CEO is an amazing person to work for. Certain managers do TERRIFIC jobs and they really made my position a lot easier. Other however...

The biggest aspects to Hub that really need to improve are communication, discipline and lack of effort. Communication: My direct manager and another manager I deal with daily are very terrible at relaying important information to me on a regular basis. Certain jobs will be an extreme priority or certain meetings will be mandatory but it wont be communicated to me 90% of the time. Discipline: There have been numerous times over the many years I have worked at hub labels where I have been yelled at for someone else's mistakes or simply because someone else did not do there job or follow procedures. There are a few times when I have been blamed for a mistake, even though I was out on PTO when the mistake was made. Lack of Effort: Hub operates on a 24 hours basis across three shifts. I really wish I could say everyone at Hub puts in 100% effort but that would not be true. Numerous times, I will come in for my shifts and my area will be littered with trash or waste everywhere. A few jobs have almost been late because of one person in the chain not take a 1 minute walk to pick up the necessary paper work.
