Svantaggi
Very high turnover. Chaotic. Huckletree fosters a high pressure working environment with a focus on constant high performance. Change happens quickly and often which can be hard for some to keep up with. KPIs and goalposts are moved regularly at a whim due to unrealistic growth plans, for instance. Junior team members are given enormous responsibility at an early stage in their careers with little to no support and concerns are routinely ignored or fobbed off. A huge lack in consistent communication from the top down. Whatever suits senior leadership is what happens, regardless if they plan on informing the wider team or not. A lot of crucial decision-making isn’t shared with the teams that will be actively taking on a large portion of these projects and implementations. Senior leadership team is large however there are few direct reports to carry out the majority of the workload for huge projects. Senior leadership claimed to love feedback but often discouraged it. A lot of toxic management styles here, including senior members of team routinely taking credit for work that wasn’t theirs. Additionally HR processes were not apparent in their execution in instances of preventing or mediating workplace bullying. To echo other reviews, if you aren’t liked regardless of how great your work is, you’ll be pushed out. I saw this happen to many colleagues during my time here also. These people were all human beings with feelings and it was really difficult to watch them being treated this way by a company that supposedly prides itself on mental health support, empathy and transparent leadership.
