Joining a startup is not for everyone, and Hummingbird is no exception. It is a fast-paced environment where things evolve quickly, and that comes with real challenges. We are building something unique in healthcare, and doing that means navigating change, solving hard problems, and staying flexible along the way. That said, for the right person, it is an incredibly rewarding place to work. The people here are genuinely kind, smart, hardworking, and supportive. The work is meaningful, interesting, and often complex, but there is a strong sense that we are in it together. Even during stressful or chaotic moments, people make an effort to support one another and celebrate wins along the way. Senior leadership is approachable, communicative, and transparent, and the company has worked hard to build a culture grounded in respect, growth, and teamwork.
