Vantaggi
Honestly not many. Decent pay. Pretty consistent hours. And a few good co workers
Svantaggi
Lots. I had 4 managers during my time. 2 of them actually encouraged me to grow and treated me like a person. The other 2 were micromanaging, controlling, and distant. I started out as a banker. There you are constantly understaffed. So you cant help customers as quick as they like. So you get suck with a lobby of pissed off customer. You get yelled at or treated like garbage because you are not meeting customers expectations. You are expected to talk customers into signing up for loans and credit cards. And are scolded if you dont try to overcome their no. I then moved into the back office. You take banker calls and take up to 80 a day back to back. You get calls from bankers who want a specific answer and will belittle you if you dont answer again company policy. Or they dont try to find quick answers on their own or read notes on a customer’s profile. They rush to call and end up wasting the customers time. The department’s expectations change constantly. I made my decision to accept the back office role mainly off it being a hybrid role. Then soon after accepting it chanced and I was told by my manager that it was foolish to have used that a deciding factor. They keep adding to the job description with little to no training on the new expectations. But you are expected to know how to do all the new work and maintain your current work load. Overall there are a few really good and solid people that work here. But a lot are micromanaging, controlling and belittling. I was the most stressed I have ever been working at a job. Every day I would think I was failing and not have much support from management. I never felt seen or heard. Felt like I was a number and easily replaceable. This is not a bad company to work for. But you will be stressed and drained every day.
