Svantaggi
I enjoyed many of the projects I worked on and the people I worked with at Huron but I cannot recommend working at Huron primarily because I believe that leadership discriminates against disabled employees but they also have expectations that their employees be available to work greater than 60 hour work weeks, and are constantly contradicting the messages they send to employees. The company frequently will tell you that they are a people first company and notes that this is why they don’t pay at the top of the market but they are still somehow a pay for performance culture when it comes time for bonuses. I was given promotions, bonuses, and multiple raises up until I disclosed my disability. I chose to disclose not because it was impacting my work but because I felt supported and safe with my co-workers. Within 3 months my performance coach and leadership aggressively started to push a development plan that was based on soft skill related competencies. I was working greater than 60 hour weeks trying to keep up and when I asked for help it was recorded as negative remarks in my development plan. Working at Huron can open many doors but just be aware they aren’t what they seem culture-wise.
