Vantaggi
They provide shuttle bus to work, and to shopping mall at lunch. They provide and option of Provident Fund which does not deduct 5% of your salary each month, but require you to work for them for 3 years to get 30%, 4 years for 40%, etc, of the fund. They provide a little bit of mentorship in the beginning but it is not very useful.
Svantaggi
compensation: - vastly underpay (basically a trap for people from junior to senior) - very little salary increment - very bureaucratic management tech: - lags behind industry at least by 10 years (don't expect your experience to be of any use) - CTO at the time has no motivation to improve the situation, finding excuses instead of trying to solve problem, saying things like even with established coding standard, how can we enforce it, so it is useless. This is why their source code cannot be compiled right after pulling from repository - speaking of which, they are using CVS as their VCS ;) - basically the reluctance to advance in technology is from top down - a lot of problem in their code base, poor handling of password, bad logging practice, etc. no one can learn anything there outsourcing/vendor: - they can pay millions to vendors but expect a fresh grad to pick up their mess when insourcing - buying unknown vendor's solution, their product is incomplete, development and maintenance is nightmare, working without even basic code highlight in their editor (textarea only), the outcome is horrible and they pay millions project management: - they have no any idea of project management, just give you info and expect you to "manage yourself" other: - the location is remote, it is hard to get to.
