HR works with your school schedule to get you enough hours but also be comfortable with study/school time. While the pay isn't super great for the work it isn't bad. They start students off at $1 above minimum wage and part-time employees receive a quarterly bonus. Everyone is pretty great to work with and the store director takes the time to get to know you and the customers. Customer are wonderful to help and they love coming to Hy-Vee.

Svantaggi

Sometimes you will need to work almost every weekend a month but they are pretty good with requests off.

I really enjoyed my coworkers and the management of the store. There were a handful of people who worked there at the time who weren't necessarily my favorite, but overall the team was good.

Svantaggi

There we no significant cons. The pay is not the highest, but these are mainly entry level jobs.
