High-performing employees are treated poorly, while substandard workers who are close to certain managers are moved into better positions—and sometimes even promoted. This year alone, Hydro has lost several talented employees due to weak, inconsistent, and retaliatory leadership from the GM/VP. The same leader who promotes concepts like Psychological Safety and Human & Organizational Performance is the same one who pressures managers to fire employees for reporting hazards.
