- Perpetual early-stage startup syndrome (Hyperikon has the institutional and infrastructural sophistication of a several month old startup - do not expect a business of scale) - Family owned (The founder put his sons in charge - your job is whatever they want it to be) - Poor leadership (Very little cohesive organization; employees are nominally encouraged to innovate while business choices are made by the family without exception) - Salaries are not competitive and substantive raises are contingent on hell freezing over; even the few long-term employees would not comfortable discussing compensation - Unprofessional compelled loyalty culture - people who leave for other opportunities are considered traitors and not spoken of well following departure -High turnover (Due to the above cons people only stay as long as it takes to be hired out; full-time work is augmented by low-paid interns) -Fake Glassdoor reviews (read the other reviews... "no cons...keep it up!" -- really? I mean, read Google's Glassdoor reviews. 4.4 stars -- not a single one without cons. Textbook review padding.)
