      As others have mentioned, the benefits package is one of the best available. This year has brought a lot of unexpected situations and the company always reacts with it's people in mind. They sent everyone home and are working to bring people back (if they want to). When the protests started earlier this year, Bill Cunningham wasn't silent about it, he spoke about it during an all-employee meeting and started small group/community forums to discuss how people were feeling and how to grow. Everyone is trying to do their best to make IAT a top tier insurance company and a great place to work. One of the most exciting projects is our transition to Unity - our new technology platform. It's a long process but once it is completed, the company will finally be on one platform and able to get a single view of a customer!

      We have so much PTO, it is hard for people to use all of it. It's been even harder this year with little to do.

      Thank you for sharing your feedback. No doubt, it’s been a challenging year. We understand the pandemic has caused many employees to postpone and cancel travel plans this year and how disappointing that is. We encourage you to use your PTO time even as we shelter-in-place – whether it’s to spend time with family or simply unplug from work. We’re also glad to hear you participated in the Community Forums to openly share, listen and learn from each other about race, justice and inequality. We look forward to continuing these conversations because we find the more we talk with open minds and hearts, the more connected we become.       Extremely generous 401k match, great amount of PTO (even as a new employee), College Loan Payment Assistance (Yes, you read that right! It's unique and amazing). Days are busy with engaging and interesting work but hours are typically fairly regular, leaving sufficient time and personal capacity to fully enjoy my life outside of work - great balance which is one of the things I enjoy most about working at IAT! Most of claims is now on one amazing claim system - state of the art! Fantastic progress vs. just a few years ago when IAT claims was working in numerous outdated, difficult systems.

      Small company which can feel a bit limiting in terms of career path. However, IAT really leverages every opportunity to help employees have their desired careers, switch lines of business, etc. Small down side relative to the many advantages of working for IAT.
